Charge 3 black face

Hello I’ve come to use my old Fitbit change 3 and after hours of scrolling and trying to reset my device it’s still not working. It’s charges and vibrates but nothing more. I disconnected it from my phone and not I am unable to connect it again. 
please help

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Charge 3.

I'm not sure if you are having difficulties with charging the device. If that is correct, please see: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Please, I'd like to confirm if you've tried the following steps in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Charge 3 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Charge 3.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Charge 3.
  • Once your Charge 3 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Charge 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Hello @SE24 and welcome to the Community.  Older, monochrome trackers are prone to screen failure.  I follow all the forums and there seem to be more user complaints about the Charge 3 than other trackers.  Sorry, but I don't this there is a solution to your issue.

Yep, there is nothing to do.

Mine Charge 3 got the same issue. I got new one from warranty and after half year the screen went black again. After that I got my money back. Now I'm using my older Charge 2.

I'm having the same problem, but my husband can't locate. Where he moved the original box and warranty information to... Off hand do you remember how long the warranty lasts for and/or do you still have your Fitbit Charge 3's warranty paperwork (and if so you could share the contact information)? (Mine was purchased mid to late 2022, if not early 2023)...
