Charge 3 black screen, won't sync

My Charge 3 has a black screen.  When I plug it in and hold the button down, it sometimes shows a progress bar and/or a smiley face, but nothing further happens.  It does not sync to the fitbit app on my phone.  Please help!

@AndyP13 Have you tried changing the clock face in the app or performing a factory reset?

 

If those things don't work, then I'd recommend you reach out to Customer Support.  Best of luck!

Thanks for reaching out.  Yes, I am unable to change the Clock Face.  "The clock cannot be installed on your device.  Your device is not connected."  I will try Customer Support.

This is also happening to mine. The only thing that happens is the smiley face.  Black screen after smiley face and isn't recognized to sync.
