Hi there, @Patgolden. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 3 before reaching out.
To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
See you around.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I have the same issue. I have tried all the steps listed above. The display is still blank. It was working fine until the last battery charge and then the screen just died on me. What can I do? This is getting very frustrating - I have seen the threads on the forum and many have had the same issue, yet there does not seem to be a fix identified for this other than the steps above. Several people have said that the steps above does not fix the issue! Is there an obsolescence being forced on consumers?

I have the same issue with my Charge 3. Tried restart and changing clock face. Neither worked. Would doing a factory reset help?

This has happened to so so many us. I have 3..yes 3 Fitbit Charge 3 and not one of them will work. Dark display, 001 code and one which only half the display works, the other half is completely dark. Fitbit is now avoiding me as I have brought these issues to them and they have no solution. The Fitbits are now just trash..totally worthless. Two have less than 6 months use and one just over a year. No resetting or any troubleshooting has resolved any of the three different issues. Super bummed at this product and company. Apparently the Fitbit 3 has major issues and a faulty product. I have read about it in multiple forums online. I hope you have better luck with your device.

This is an update on my blank screen. I use my Charge 3 mainly for counting steps. Even though the screen was blank, it was still syncing with my iPhone so I could look at all my data on my phone. About a month ago I saw a smiley face on the screen when it had finished charging, but nothing else. I tried the other suggestions again without success. A week later I saw a clock face on the screen but it was very dim. After another charge, I was able to get to the settings screen by swiping from right to left & I changed the brightness setting from dim to normal which helped somewhat. Today, I used my computer to reset my clock face to the one I originally used & it is working though the screen is still not as bright as it was originally. I don't intend to mess with it any more. I'm sorry this may not be helpful for many of you with the same problem. I just wanted to pass the information along.
