My Charge 3 has a blank screen. I am unable to see anything. I have restarted it several times as suggested in other threads, and I can get the smiley face icon. But after that nothing. It still transmits information to my app but is pretty useless as a watch or tracker. Is it time to replace it or can anyone offer a solution please?

I'm sorry to say that I have two Charge 3 trackers and both failed. On my first Charge 3, I noticed one defective pixel after only a few months of normal use. More and more pixels failed and the ones that lit up got dimmer and dimmer. I couldn't even see the screen in the dark. It barely lasted 9 months.
I regret wasting more money on a second Charge 3. I purchased an extended warranty for that one, but the same thing happened. It only lasted about 27 months, of course it failed after the warranty expired.
I contacted customer service and received this reply:
I would like to apologize for these inconveniences. It's only a very small percentage of products that actually experience such anomalies. When such anomalies do occur though, we always make sure our developers team is informed about all occurrences and discrepancies, so that we can keep moving forward in improving our products and services.
