Hi Everyone,

My charge 3 just arrived and I was so excited. This is my first fitness tracker so I was super happy to have one. The problem was that when I started using it, I started having headaches, it is really uncomfortable and I am worry. I guess this is not normal, but can this be fixed? anyone with a similar problem? I would not like to return it, I only have it for a week :(.

I have not heard of anyone experiencing this but if you really feel the tracker is causing your headaches by all means return it.

Thanks for your reply, I have checked other topics and other users of fitbit has experiences headaches too, but not specifically with Charge 3. Apparently it is caused by the tracker's bluetooth. However, I have not found any good solution so far.

I would like to find a better solution than just return it.

My Charge 3 too causes headaches.

I got this for mother's day and the following Monday, i noticed i had a terrible headache after work.

I had to leave work early as i felt confused and just drained. I checked back at what i had changed in the days leading up to the headache and i decided to use process of elimination to work out what the problem was - took off my Fitbit and bang headache's gone.

Still couldn't believe it and decided to try the Fitbit a few days later - i got slight headaches but nothing i couldn't get through the day with until now. My head has just started ringing and i've searched for causes of headaches. Taken my Fitbit off and feel slightly better already! Might be psychological relief but the headache is real!

Sadly quite likely that i will return this device and the one i got my mum too 😞

My boy has a Fitbit Ace and doesn't get headaches....

I too have been getting headaches from the Charge 3.

Mainly due to the fact that it over counts steps like crazy and I can’t return it because the retailer I bought it from only allows returns up to 30 days from purchase. And Fitbit says there is nothing wrong with it and gives the same non working fixes and won’t just man up and take it back for the amount I paid for it. It’s less than 2 months old.

Major headache!

Ive had my fitbit charge 3 for 2 days and a severe headache and ringing in my ears. I searched for anyone having the same issues and removed it from my wrist and within 30 minutes my headache has gone!!

Is it a fault?

Hey MelG1976 - try turning off the heart rate monitor.

That seems to work for me (it stopped the headaches) and I don’t use the sleep tracker personally due to the headaches- it’s a shame I know but didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning it. Big let down and you’re right it’s likely a fault with the Charge3.

I too have been getting headaches recently, something I rarely get. I mislaid my charger a week ago and surprise, surprise, no headaches. When I find it and charge it, if they return I will not be using my Charge 3 which is a real shame.

Well after a month with no headaches due to not using the charge 3, surprise, surprise,  after 1 day of using I had a headache. I continued for a week but got a few more headaches so I am now going to sell mine. As I have no idea what is causing this, I think I will buy a £10 pedometer instead.

My charge 2 gives me a headache as well. Does anyone know why? I got mine in 2018.. I have not used it for this reason in over a year and a half. Last night I charged it up and put it on and what do you know... HEADACHE within 5 to 7 mins of having it on..

I had this too in the past, I think it is caused by the bluethooth power. Today I use an apple watch with airplane mode on.

This is the first time I've heard about headaches due to a fitness tracker. I think the reason for the headaches is something else. I have been suffering from headaches since childhood due to the fact that as a child I had 3 concussions after which I had increased intracranial pressure. I have been trying for more than 10 years to cope with this migraine and until recently it was all to no avail. I recently found a great website https://b-simply-healthy.com/ thanks to which I was able to learn a lot about how to get rid of headaches and in пeneral about how to maintain health.

What brought you to this thread then? Maybe try giving a thought to other people’s experiences. Because it hasn’t happened to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

I started using a versa 2 earlier this week and I have been suffering from a migraine all week. I am just starting to link the fitbit as a possible cause. It's the only new thing. Someone said cold weather change here in FL but our first cold day was Dec 1st not this week. So i am keeping it off now and will see.
