So disappointed with Fitbit UK & Ireland.
My partner treated me for Christmas 2018 to a Charge 3. Not a cheap fitness tracker, so I expected good things especially after having a Charge 2 for nearly 2 years and having no issues. My first Charge 3 didn’t work properly couldn’t sync etc. So Fitbit did replace this one.
I woke up one morning and noticed the screen had cracked a little. A Charge 3 is meant to be super resilient with Gorilla glass as you can go swimming with it on etc. It’s on my non dominant hand and I take good care of it due to the heft price tag. I even take it off when I go swimming as I didn’t want to catch it on a pool side.
Fitbit’s response is that environmental factors can affect the watches. So I’ve had two Fitbit’s in 10 months and neither of them have been up to the mark that Fitbit set themselves. If your looking for a fitness tracker and you do more than body weight exercises, Zumba and yoga then do not get a Fitbit as I should imagine if you catch it on a weight bar, swimming pool side etc. The ‘gorilla’ glass would end up worse than my small crack from generic daily use!
Thanks a bunch Fitbit 👎🏼

It's great to see you around, @Seager12.
I understand how are you feeling and appreciate the feedback provided. As you might know, Fitbit doesn't have any physical repair centers that can accommodate in fixing or that can provide spare parts for trackers. Also, scratch, cracked and damaged screens are not covered by our warranty. If you have any questions, or would like to clarify some information about our warranty policy, click here.
Let me know if you need anything else. 🙂

It’s cracked inside. There is no crack on the outside of the screen. This is physically impossible if I had ‘caught it’ then it would be on the outside. I’ve seen plenty of people talking about the Charge 3 having overheating issues, the more I have researched.
Other people like myself have woken up when not wearing it at night and have a crack inside the screen. Some believe it to be a fault with the battery overheating. I’m sure with it being ‘gorilla glass’ I would known I had caught it as it would have needed a pretty big hit to crack it on the outside. How do you explain a crack on the inside?
I had a charge 2 for a long time and no issues. I had two charge 3s from new in 6 months. Something seems off with the quality/design of the charge 3s. It’s not just me either!
