Charge 3 display and HR problems

Recently there seems to be several faults with my Charge 3. There are horizontal lines across the top of the screen, which are not a problem but the screen is now so dim that I cannot read it when outside. Now the heart rate monitor appears not to be working properly...HR of over 140 when just resting! 
I’ve had this device for a couple of years and wear every day...has it worn out, or can these issues be fixed?

If you haven't done so please restart the Charge 3 : How do I restart my Fitbit device?
