Hello Everyone,
I purchased my Fitbit Charge 3 approximately a year ago. Prior to that, I had a Charge 2 product. I use the products to keep track of my daily exercise (and it is a very good device to get a sense of the caloric consumption and daily physical activities)
However, I haven't had much luck with the Fitbit products. My Charge 3 started breaking down right after the 1 year warranty period. It started off with the screen fading away (horizontal fades). I contacted the Fitbit support, but because it was shortly after the warranty period, I didn't get any support. A short while after that, the battery is not working well (draining quickly). This has been a very frustrating experience and it seems as tho the products are designed to breakdown right after the warranty period.
Thanks,
Shawn

It's great to welcome you, @Shawn_S27.
I am sorry for the delay in response, due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual. I also understand how are you feeling.
Regarding the screen, you can follow the instructions provided in this post. Now about the battery, I recommend following the tips in the help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?. After following them, test your unit.
Let me know the outcome. 🙂

I agree with you! I had a Charge HR whose band came apart during warranty. They offered me replacement or discount to upgrade. I paid for the upgrade, but it wasn't much of a savings. I think I eventually had a problem not long after warranty on that one. I replaced that with a Charge 3. One day during warranty the screen on my Charge 3 went blank and wouldn't ever come on. They sent me a replacement Charge 3. I think I've had that maybe a year and a half now and now mine just started displaying horizontal blank lines and has progressively gotten worse in the last week. For as much as you pay for these things, you'd think they'd be built to last more than a year and half.

Hello Alejandra,
Thank you for your response. I have taken all the usual recommendations into account and unfortunately none of them have been effective.
Seeing the response from other users, it seems that this is an issue that some of the Charge 3 products have in common.
Thanks,
Shawn
