The pixels on my Fitbit have gotten progressively dimmer over the past week or so to the point that I can no longer read the display. I purchased the Fitbit in December, 2018 (about 18 months ago). Based on other comments I've seen on this forum, I've done the short restart and the long restart, and I attempted to change the watch face. None of those steps changed this issues I'm having. The unit charges normally and my activity still syncs with the Fitbit app, so the Fitbit appears to be working -- except for the display.
What's the normal life for the Charge 3? I would expect it to be longer than 18 months.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

I"m here to report the same issue. I received the Charge 3 for Christmas 2018 and in the past month the face has gotten dimmer and dimmer. Changing the watch face only helps for a minute and even though it's brighter for a minute, the pixels are not all working. I've installed and uninstalled the app, restarted the tracker but nothing is fixing the issue. Also, the oxygen variation isn't working anymore. Even data that I could see last week is now longer appearing on the graph from that day. Seems to be a hardware issue but I expect a fitbit to last longer than 18 months
