Hi my new charge 3 is blank and when I charge it and try to restart it using the side button it just vibrates with a blank screen.

I finally lost patience and called them. They are having me send it back for trouble shooting since they can’t find where it was ever paired under my email and I don’t have the box it came in (apparently the serial number was on the box). Hopefully they can fix or replace it. I really liked it and just want it to work. Thanks for the feedback.

I still have a blank screen.  Yesterday my fit bit was charged but the time was wrong.  I reset and then tried to sync.  My phone could not detect the fitbit.  Restarted everything, redownloaded, unplugged, replugged in, I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING.  NOTHING ON THE SCREEN NOW.  YESTERDAY HAD EVERYTHING--EXCEPT WRONG TIME--NOW NOTHING ON SCREEN.

Same here! I followed your tip, changed the clock face, and now it's working fine. Nothing else suggested here worked.

I have researched through the community and have tried each step listed. What can I do? I purchased, 2nd hand, a fitbit Charge 3 yesterday. It has not been synced with any of my devices. I let it charge the entire first night. It will vibrate when plugged into a charger and when I press on the button. There is no smiley or any kind of screen display. I am unable to change clock faces due to what I previously stated: not synced with my device. I really hate to return it. This is the second time I've had an issue. Thank you Kindly.

I followed all the directions and also tried to update the clock face and I still have a black screen.  The unit is still working because I see my steps and other info still feeding to my phone app

So this is my THIRD time with this same problem. The first was with my HR2...the screen stopped working, contacted tech support, nothing they could do since it was out of warranty period. So I waited, bought the HR3 when it came out and within a few weeks the display stopped working. Tech support sent me a new one since this time it was under warranty. I have had the "new" one for about 7 months and for the past few months, the display has gotten dimmer and dimmer to the point where I cannot even see it unless I'm in complete darkness.

This is a KNOWN issue. I've tried the restart, tried changing the clock. Your product is flawed obviously and you need to make this right. I would like a full refund.
