Charge 3 has a pixelated screen

I'm on my third charge Fitbit. Each one of them has suddenly stopped charging after just over 2 years, This one has also started to pixelate. surely they should last longer than this at this price? I've tried resetting it etc. I feel very let down by this product and for the first time ever, just wonder if I should look at other brands but I do love fitbits

First one I purchased in Dec 2019 and within 6 months the screen started showing strange writing. Eventually replaced but now I’m unable to charge so it’s useless. Contacted Fitbit who informed me I was out of warranty but would give me discount code to obtain a new one!? So why would I do that after reading your post and having my experience. It appears they have a shelf life of two years.

On a side note, I'd like to let you know that there are many factors that could impact the performance of your Charge 3 devices, including normal wear and tear from everyday wear is expected with watches or trackers. @Alisonhillman I was able to see that you reached out to our Support Team, but it seems that your chat got disconnected. In this case, if you still need further assistance, my best recommendation is that you please reach out to them one more time, this way they can review your case and your available options.

@laveritae I also noticed that you contacted our Support Team and they were able to provide information and assistance. If you still have any questions or additional comments, I recommend replying back to your case and they will be more than glad to continue assisting you.

It seems strange that I am unable to charge the device. It seems not to recognise the power supply therefore making it useless. Being this device is my replacement which hasn’t even lasted 19months is very concerning. Sadly, it falls outside of any guarantee as replacements are only covered for 30days. So, although I was happy with the produced I would not buy another due to these issues. I would be happier paying for longevity and reliability at whatever cost.

@laveritae Thank you very much for your reply.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and comments. Please note that replacement devices are provided for products that are within the warranty period. If your original Charge 3 is no longer under warranty a discount could be an available option but some conditions and requirements should be met.
