I received a Charge 3 as a gift 1.5 years ago and now nothing lights up on the band but it continues to track steps on my phone. Is the life span only 1.5 years?

Hello @bookworm45 and welcome to the Help forum. Since your Charge 3 is counting steps, have you tried any of the troubleshooting steps listed in the Charge 3 manual? When you say nothing lights up, does that include not lighting up after tapping? Have you accidentally set your screen wake to manual?
I am also moving this to the Other Charge Tracker forum to keep things organized.

@bookworm45 Besides the information that was shared on the post above, I'd like to let you know that if the display of your Charge 3 isn't working or turning on, please make sure to review the suggested tips in this thread: Check here for help with Charge 3 screen issues.
Regarding your question, take into consideration that normal wear and tear from everyday wear is expected with trackers.
