As of tonight, my Charge 3 stopped syncing. Went through all of the troubleshooting steps to no avail. It tracked until about 8 pm and then just stopped.

Could you please let me know if you get an error message when trying to sync? Which is your phone´s model?

Best AnswerHi, Andrea. I don’t get an error message. I pull down to refresh and it says syncing but nothing happens. I show 0 steps for today. I have an iPhone 7plus. Phone is updated. Can’t tell if app is updated but I don’t see any messages to the contrary. I’ve always used the same tracker and phone and it just stopped syncing last night.
I have same issue I posted a question on here two days ago but got no response.
I have tried all the recommended suggestions, including removing and reinsatlling the app on my phone.
And rebooting the charge 3 via the setting menu.
Nothing works and it hasn't now connected for a couple of weeks.

mine is once again doing this same thing...I am on my 3rd Fitbit Charge 3 and I AM DONE WAISTING MY MONEY.... Each one has lasted less then 1 year and this crap starts happening out of nowhere....I refuse to waist anymore money on another Fitbit
Mine stopped yesterday as well. I've turned the bluetooth off/on, powered the phone off/on. Deleted the device from the phone and now the phone won't pick it up at all, deleted the app and re-installed the app. The app recognizes the device but won't pull in any of the information. I think it's an issue of the bluetooth in the device. Had the Charge 3 since February. Very frustrated and disappointed, the last 2 weeks it's been nothing but issues.
Yep I’d say Fitbit has a problem too. The only fix I found was to unpair the tracker from the app and then pair it again. Trouble is I have to do this EVERY MORNING because my Charge 3 is also suddenly loosing time overnight (10-15mins). Totally over it.
Fitbit had better find a fix or there will be a lot of customers going to their competitor’s products. 😡
My fitbit stopped syncing on 10/9/2020. I tried resetting but can only get to the step of putting in the four digits to pair then it says: Sorry, the setup is taking longer than usual. Please be patient. We're on it!
It does not after that except to time out.
Update: I was able to download the app from the MicroSoft store and sync on my laptop. This also added the device to my phone and it is now properly syncing.
UPDATE: I was able to download the Fitbit app to my computer from the MicroSoft store and sync it there. That also added the device to my phone app which is now syncing.
Best AnswerAndrea, where are you? I replied to your question. Numerous others are having the same problem. Where is the fix or do we just junk this thing? This seems to be a serious problem and I am concerned by the lack of response.
Interestingly, the Charge 3 can pull info from MyFitnessPal and somehow shows calories burned but no steps. Without an answer, this thing is going in the junk drawer.
