Charge 3 not tracking sleep correctly

Looks like quite a few of us are not liking the screen that replaces the previous dashboard. After this latest update, the sleep recorded was massively incorrect. I did not sleep last night at all- and it shows I had over 7.5 hours of light, rem, and deep sleep.

Is it only tracking heart rate and ignoring movement? Couldn’t be more useless.

i have reset the tracker and will see what today brings, but I know it won’t bring a screen that is easy to understand at a glance.☹️Fit bit, do you know the maxim “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it”?

Welcome to the Community Forums, @Trailblazer98. I totally understand how you feel, rest assured that I will do my best to help you. I appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting your Charge 3.

Beginning with Fitbit app version 2.92 for iPhones and Android phones, we’re testing a new and improved Fitbit app experience. If you’re invited to opt in, you can see the new design and try our new app experience to access all your stats and information in a way that’s more dynamic, integrated, and highly personalized. You can find more detailed information at: What's the new Fitbit app experience?

On the other hand, if your Charge 3 is registering your sleep but not providing you with sleep stages, take into consideration the information provided in: Why don't I see sleep stages today?

If your device is still not registering your sleep after reviewing the information above, I recommend trying the following:

  1. Manually sync the tracker. See instructions in How do Fitbit devices sync their data?
  2. Restart the tracker. See instructions in How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  3. Try sleeping with the tracker on your non-dominant hand.
  4. If steps 1-3 don't work, I suggest manually logging your sleep to reflect the time slept. See instructions in How do I change my sleep history?

Let me know if there's anything else I may do to assist you with.

I am still having the same issue intermittently. Stops tracking in the early hours of the morning. Have updated, restarted, worn on non dominant wrist. Please advise as very frustrating. Thank you
