Welcome to the Fitbit Community. @MrsMonroe. I´ll be happy to help with your Charge  3 not vibrating inquiry.

In order to make your tracker vibrate again, please restart it:

On Fitbit Charge 3, you can restart your tracker from your wrist. Open the Settings app  and tap About > Reboot Device.

If your Charge series tracker is unresponsive: .

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.

Hi, I’ve tried this and I still have no vibration on my device, I’ve tried to reboot it both ways, is there anything else I can do? I really need the silent alarm so that when I wake up to exercise I don’t wake my children up,

My Charge 3 just stopped vibrating today after working just fine up to now.  Also it no longer wakes up when I tap the screen, but does show the display when I press the button.  Restarting did not help.  😞

hi @MrsMonroe @GenericMS  I can see the problem you are facing but I can help... do the following steps

this also happened to me

1: turn on your Fitbit

2:go to timers

3: go to countdown

4:set an timer for 1 second

5: when the timer is done, double tap the screen really  hard and it should vibrate

hope it works

I got to admit that your comment made zero sense at first...but after reading multiple moderators say to restart the watch in so many different ways (hold down 3, 5, 7, 10 or 15 seconds) and none of it working I thought what the heck, I'd give it a shot...and it worked. Don't know why, but it just buzzed at the 10 minutes until the next hour to remind me to move to get the 250 steps. My fitbit wasn't vibrating so it was ironic to see moderators say hold the button down and when it vibrates you know it's restarting...hey, i'm on here because it doesn't vibrate...weird, but thanks for the unconventional approach and glad it's vibrating again!
