My Charge 3 is overcounting way too many steps. When walking it is counting too many steps. But especially when I am not walking it's counting a lot of steps. I compared it with my Iphone which is always in my pocket and is really pretty accurate counting all day's steps/movements and distance. I checked this! On average the charge 3 is overcounting almost 70-100% extra steps every day, compared to my iphone which is pretty accurate.
I tried to use dominant and non dominant wrist, but it does not make a lot of difference. What can I do, so my fitbit is not overcounting, especially when I am not moving/working, it probably also counts steps when I am typing on my computers keyboard.
Please advise....

Welcome to the Community, @VictorAmsterdam.
Thanks for troubleshooting this accuracy issue. For tips about improving accuracy, I recommend checking the help article: How accurate are Fitbit devices?.
Several things can affect the number of steps your Fitbit device records, including where you place the device, if you wear it on your dominant or non-dominant hand, and your stride length. If you're pushing a stroller or shopping cart, try putting your device in your pocket or use GPS to record your activity, if possible.
If it still seems like your device is undercounting or overcounting steps, try a step test. While you perform your step test, make sure you:
-Walk at a normal pace
-Don’t hold anything in your hands
-Put your arms down at your sides, swinging naturally
-Count 1 step for each foot
-To avoid getting an additional step when you bring your feet together, after you reach 100 steps:
Here’s the step test:
Let me know the outcome.
