Charge 3 screen became dim

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've read other forum posts and this issue seems unresolved.  My charge 3 display has become increasingly dim.  It was not in Sleep mode. I restarted it several times with the result being that the display is now completely black.  Is there another suggestion I can try?  For now I am just using it as a heart monitor during exercise - I need a functional watch the rest of the time.

Hi @Sstogd, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 3 became dim and it's now black. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if your Charge 3 vibrates when you put it on the charger.

In the meantime, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

Looking forward to your response.

Yes, it vibrates when I put it on the charger. It seems to work in every
other way -- synchronizes with my phone just fine.

Today, the screen is back to "barely visible" rather than completely black
-- no idea what changed. I am noticing that some parts of the display are
dimmer than others -- it has a spotty appearance.

I have always used the standard clock faces, never a third party. I
changed the clockface anyway -- no change.
