Charge 3 screen blank

I've had my Charge 3 since January and the screen went blank last night. It's still tracking steps etc as app is updated.

I've already tried the restart as mentioned in other comments and all it does is a pulse vibrate a few times then nothing. I have also tried plugging it into charging cable etc still no luck!

Really disappointed at the quality, this is my 3rd fitbit and all have had problems!!

Exactly the same with my FB3 today.

Tried all the options but no screen.

Emailed support and will update.

So glad to see this. I thought mine had broken.....shall see what happens tomorrow.

Exact same here! I just emailed support and got a reply saying they no longer offer email assistance? Anyone else get that?

I used the one I had used previously (this is not the first or second time I have had problems) https://contact.fitbit.com but it doesn't work!

Grrr update.....one of the solutions I read was to change the clock face and then try again. I did, and now it has turned off completely. No flashing lights. Can't switch back on either so don't have the facility of being able to sync any stats because it won't switch on.

screen still blank, but now back to recording in the background and I can sync to the app.   Why is it happening to so many people?

I've also had this for over a week now... still record and vibrates but no screen. Only just reported, hopefully gets fixed as don't want to take it off as want the stats but frustrating not being able to see the time or log workouts...

Same problem with my FBC3 too.. 

Got a blank unresponsive screen, but it's still working behind the screen.. for now!

I've tried the hard reset and changing the clock face via the app, but still no joy.

 

This is the 2nd Charge 3 I've had that's done this...and this is the replacement Fitbit sent me when my first one went wrong whilst 5 months old and still under warranty. 

I've had this one for 11 months!

Same story here! This a replacement for the first one I bought that after 5 months had white lines on the screen. I've had this one for 10months. My problem is I removed mine from my app and am now unable to pair because I can't see the pin on the screen because it's black! I had an initial response from Fitbit asking if I could confirm I had tried all troubleshooting advice but I've heard nothing since 🙄

I've been having issues with my Charge 3 for the last month or more, and I've just sort of casually come back to it seeing if the issue had been fixed (it wasn't syncing and lost time, etc... pretty common problem with the charge 3 lately).

 

But I saw that the app had recently updated so I figured I would give it a try. When I brought up my Fitbit, which should've had plenty of battery left, it the screen is blank, but when I press the side button while plugged in, it will actually vibrate for as long as I hold it, up until maybe 15 seconds, or so. Does yours vibrate like that?

I've also had trouble with my Charge 3. The screen is blank and only shows a smiley face when I try to rest. It won't go any further with the reset. Sometimes the progress bar comes up for a reset but not the entire way.

So frustrating

Same here, although my app says that there is a firmware update available, but every time I try the update a message says ""trouble connecting to fitbit.com" - I wonder if this has something to do with the problem?

No!
It just vibrates when connected to charging and then if I am still pressing the side button in vibrates for 3 short bursts. Once it buzzed 7 times and switched itself off.

I haven't been able to get anything at all on the screen - not even the smiley face.  It vibrates when I touch the side button, and sometime when my wrist is bent - I had to take it off the other morning when i was in bed and hungover as I couldn't work out what was going on.  I actually wondered if I had broken the screen somehow but considering how many people are having this issue, it sounds like it's not the hardware. 😞

I too have a blank screen since Saturday. I have sent an email to customer service, but no response. This is the 2nd time major issues have occurred with this device. The first was the inability to connect and sync which lasted for over a month. Now, the display problem which many of you are having. My tracker is almost 10 months old now, so the warranty will be up soon. Perhaps they have done another update which has messed up the display. The band also broke several months ago, but that’s a separate issue. I have also tried all of the suggestions to fix the display, but no luck.

Since last update, FITBIT support have sent several emails with suggestions
all of which are on the community pages.

My FB has recorded every day and updated this morning.

However, tried to update at lunch time and the **ahem**ed thing has died I
think.

On charge the FB is burning hot.

Obviously not right and have informed support again.

This is my second FB and I will not buy another.
