The tracker is frozen. This has not happened before. I tap on the face & nothing happens.
The app continues to track steps, etc, but I can't get the tracker to switch faces.

Hi there @Seweiner1, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided about your Charge 3's screen behavior. I'll be glad to help you. 😉
I'd recommend restarting your Charge 3 by following these steps. If the restart doesn't work, I suggest restarting your Charge 3 using the 15-second method:
In case that neither of the restarts work, since your Charge 3 is still syncing, please change the clock face to a different one to see if this brings back the display. Don't worry if you cannot see anything on the display by now, this process is done through the Fitbit app.
Give this a go and let us know the outcome.

This has happened to me several times in the last 6 months. I purchased my Charge 3 in December of 2019. I have had several discussions with Fit. I want the tracker replaced while still under warranty, and while Fit says it is not normal for the tracker to lockup so many times, because the reset works their hands are tied and the tracker cannot be replaced.
This is unacceptable, as I have asked if this behavior is normal and was told that it is not but there is nothing to be done if it resets. I think it has a problem and should be replaced, Or, Fit needs to state that this is a normal occurrence for the tracker and then we all know.

I have started seeing this issue since I updated my Charge 3 to the latest firmware.
When the screen freezes even the second hand on the clock stops! When this occurs swiping or tapping the screen has no immediate effect but when I next look at the screen the display has often changed to show steps or heartbeat etc etc. At this point swiping or tapping the screen still has no effect but pressing the button restores the clock face.
Restarting the Fitbit using the '15 second button hold' resolves the problem temporarily but then the performance issue returns shortly afterwards.
After all the problems I had when Apple released iOS 13.4.1 this is, in my view, another nail in the coffin of Fitbit!
Please provide a permanent fix to this fault which I believe is embedded in the new Fitbit firmware!
Thank You
