Charge 3 screen too dim

Hi, I’ve had my Charge 3 for about 6 months. The screen is getting dimmer. My brightness level is a normal all the time but I’m having trouble seeing my stats and date on my Mod clock. 

I have done the following but to no avail: 

1) allowing battery to drain before charging to full

2) rebooted Charge 3 

3) changed clock faces

please help.
