Hi there, @Eilit. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 3.

Please restart your Charge 3 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Screen too dim is a common issue with Fitbit Charge 3.  Complaints are all over Community Forum, dating back 3 years ago.  In my case, it got dimmer and dimmer progressively.  Now I can't even read anything in a dark room.  Resetting it or changing clock face didn't work for me.  I couldn't do a factory reset because I could not read the text.
