Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Yash37.

Thank you for sharing the details of the issue with your device. I recommend checking if the heart-rate tracking is turned on: On your device, open the Settings app > Heart Rate > tap to turn the setting On. For complete troubleshooting tips, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

I've shared your post with our Support team and they've mentioned that you already have a case with them. I know they will be glad to help you out and provide a solution, please keep an eye on your inbox.

I'll be around if you have any questions.

Hi
I have tried literally everything I could think of
Checking the settings, restarting the device from settings, restarting device
by plugging it in,restarting the device after plugging it in worked twice
but each time the heart rate only worked for about 5 hours and then
stopped working and now restarting the device doesn't work.
I also unpaired the Fitbit with the app and registered it again but it
hasn't helped,in fact I think it made matters worse because now screen
doesn't wake up when I flip my hand.

Hi I got a mail back from Fitbit but the mail basically only said the product is out of warranty and we can't do anything sorry bye.I complained on twitter also about this but I haven't received any help all I want to know is if I should just throw the thing away because it won't work,it's dead and the 2-3times I tried to charge it it heats up within 5minutes that my hands burn when I remove it. The battery was **ahem** when it still started up and since 22nd December it hasn't been working.
