Charge 3 white screen

I am so disgusted with Fitbit. I have had dead pixel lines through it for months but now the screen is white. I called for assistance and the customer service guy hung up on me. I was being polite but he seemed frustrated that he could not solve the problem. I have restarted it numerous times and still does not work. I see that these watches seem programmed to break after about 11 months when the warranty runs out. I am a disabled vet, supporting myself and my mother on only my service connection. I cannot afford to buy one every year. In the long run it seems wiser to pay more money upfront and purchase an Apple Watch. All my friends that bought Apple, have had no problems and they end up reselling them for more than half the price after two or more years.

Please note that our main purpose is to avoid negative experiences to our customers, we're always willing to help and provide troubleshooting steps. Then, if the tracker is deemed defective we review eligibility using the one year warranty option.

Additionally, our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy is set into providing as much coverage as we can.

My charge screen just sudden showed up with grainy white lines and the screen looks kind of grey.  I've read some forum posts, and tried to do the fixes suggested with no results.  What is my next step to getting this thing fixed?

Me too. I think they just die after about a year. I tried rebooting mine, calling customer service extra. Nothing worked.  The customer service man hung up after nothing worked. I am very disappointed in this company

Yes they contacted me and said because I got it through the VA there was nothing they could do. They don’t warranty “gifts”. Sad to realize that Fitbit does not support the military. I let the 300 veterans that I spoke to at the Christmas party about my experience and urged them to buy the Apple brand if they could afford it. Also spoke to the administrator of my VA hospital and also let him know not to buy any more for veterans health as you will not honor the Warren

They contacted me and said since I got from VA that there is nothing they can do. They said that I would have had to bought from a “real” store vs Veterans Canteen Service. Did not give me any help at all.
