Charge 3 won't provide accurate GPS data

I have noticed a DEFINITE error in the mapping of my run and my pace.

My Fitbit may only record up to two miles but then QUITS!

This is getting VERY frustrating because I know I run at least 3-6 miles but it only logs in, MAYBE, about 2 miles.

This morning I used a different app to see the difference. I LOVE FitBit but I'm about to change my fitness watch!

In order to fix this issue, please restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains how the GPS feature works on your Fitbit device. It also contains some troubleshooting steps for you to try.

 

Finally, monitor your tracker during your next workouts and see if it provides accurate GPS data.

Nothing!!

I've done the restart several times and even a factory reset and the outcome is the same!

The recommendations DO NOT HELP!

I've notices several people are having the same issue!! Will this be fixed? 🤬🤬
