Charge 3 won't sync active minutes properly

Hi all,

 

I updated the app on my iphone after going for a walk. I had 58 minutes synced before the app update. 

updated and synced and everything seemed fine but my active minutes keep reverting back to 0. Just active minutes. The rest of the data is there. Tried resyncing and same thing. Syncs, shows all the correct data, then 58mins goes back to 0.

 

any clues?

Hi @Karend88, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the active minutes logging issue that your Charge 3 has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, monitor your Charge 3 during the next walking activities and see if it logs and syncs your active minutes properly.

This just started happening for me too but after I spoke with Fitbit support and they had me factory reset my charge 3.

Happened to me for a few months & Fitbit suggestions were basic reset, check settings etc all to no avail but it seemed to right itself but now I don’t receive any notifications! I had it for Christmas 2019 & have already had one replacement in August 2020 because the first one stopped working 

it’s a shame because I have recommended Fitbit to many friends but now after just over 6 months  use I’m looking into other brands.
