My Fitbit app says my Charge 3 needs an update, but the update won’t download. I tried for about 5 hours last night and 3 hours tonight. To make matters worse, it locks up the internet on my iPhone and iPad, so I can’t use any other apps or online sites while the update is running. Any suggestions?

My Charge 3 finally updated this morning. I estimate that it took at least 8 hours to download. Do all updates take this long?

That update is what made my Charge 3 stop working and it was just a month over a year old. I bought the 4 now and notifications won't work at all.

Looks like it may be time to switch out of FitBit. I've enjoyed FitBit for easily 6 years now. But, when simple things like upgrades mess things up irreparably, it is not ok.
