My fitbit app says there's a firmware update for my Charge 4. Where can I find a description of what the update does. Fitbit leaves me in the dark. There should at least be a list of what it fixes, breaks, changes, adds, removes, etc.
I have a "ticket" in with support and that was my very request. But so far, after 48 hours (and prompting from me that I haven't received the promised email from them), no word. They did respond that an "un-update" wasn't available. Can't wait to hear what kind of offer they make. I found my old Garmin and charged it up but unfortunately, the band broke. 😒 I basically have no watch now and am going out of town on Sunday. Guess I'll stop by Walmart and pick up something to get me by.
My wife's bricked Charge4 is pretty useless so she borrowed my sons Versa3 and it is prompting for an update as well. Apparently those are getting bricked too. Their update fails before is completes and leaves some percentage of the stuck on the logo forever.
Hi ragtopmom, they will probably offer you a discount on your next Fitbit and the discount will only valid on the full price. When they bricked my Charge 3 the Charge 4 was on sale but my discount could not be used on the sale price. Ended up saving 5%. Not much when you consider that they are the ones that broke the device.
