Charge 4 Freezes

My Charge 4 freezes regularly, especially when I try to make payment. Please do not tell me how to reboot the device as I know how, and I have to do it regularly, which is the problem!

Thanks for the details and the steps tried prior to posting. I'm sorry you're having this issue and to work on this together, may I know which other instances your device reboots? Also, did you restart it from the Settings app? Or was it done using the charging cable as described here? If the latter, did you see a smile icon displayed?

In the meantime, let's try these other steps to see how it goes afterward:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and forget your Charge 4.
  3. Open the Fitbit app, tap Devices at the top left corner and then Add More Devices.
  4. Select your Charge 4, tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.
  5. Monitor its behavior in the next few days.
