Charge 4 Isn't syncing to iphone

My device isn't connecting to my iphone. This started about 7 hours ago. I tried the "help" section on my app, which advised me to 

 

1. Turn off bluetooth and back on 

2. Try disconnecting the device from my phone's bluetooth 

3. Try rebooting the fitbit

none of these worked 

I then tried updating the app and then updating my phone. After this, I started to get a message that read "Could not install or update one or more apps. Please try again". This message popped up as a push notification multiple times.  

I contacted the customer help but none of the troubleshooting instructions given worked. Finally, the rep asked me to deactivate the device and reinstall. I tried that and my fitbit connected to my bluetooth on the reactivation process, but when I get to the bit that says to enter the code that shows on the screen of the fitbit, I get this error message: 
"The operation couldnt be completed. (com.fitbit.HTTP error 403)" 

The number shows up on my fitbit screen fine but this error message comes up every time I enter it, and when the number doesn't work, the fitbit generates a new one.

Seems like a software issue? Help!

Resolved. I tried turning off my wifi and connecting with my mobile data and that seems to have resolved it
