So for the last week I have been having issues trying to charge my fitbit charge 4. It clicks in but the battery charge symbol never shows up, so I followed the steps to reboot the fitbit, but it made no difference. I have cleaned the charging points on both fitbit and charger, anyway it has now completely died, and it just wont charge. This is the second time my fitbit has just died after around 2 years. I look after it, never get it wet etc... I'm getting a Garmin smartwatch for Christmas so dont want the discount code I will invariable be offered to buy a new product.
Anyone else having issues? Is this a common fault. I must say aside from this is has been pretty good.

I have also experienced the same issues this week. Like you, I have really looked after my Fitbit charge 4 and never got it wet but out of the blue it just stopped working. The charge lasts a few hours and then it dies. I’m really disappointed as I was hoping to buy my husband & daughter a Fitbit for Christmas but have changed my mind and now looking at other brands. So frustrating especially as I bought accessories such as the leather strap etc

I have the same issue, and I’m so disappointed. It will not charge, even after doing all the troubleshooting suggestions. I’m so sorry you are experiencing this too.

Was also having similar issues a few weeks ago and finally got it going again by playing around with the clip a bit. BUT as of about 48 hours ago the battery is charging but when it does charge it fully drains in about 3 hours. Totally disappointed and considering switching to something else. Have had Fitbit for almost 10 years but they really don't last long anymore
