I couldn’t find a charge 4 forum so this seemed like the best place:-
When I am out walking, the battery runs out before the walk is ended. I use gps on my iPhone but the battery (usually 100% charged at the start) runs out after about 3-4 hours. I pause the watch when stopping for sandwiches!
How can I prolong the battery life or, if this is not possible, do you have a newer product that will give me about 5-6 hours of battery life? I am fed up with only about two thirds of my walk being recorded.

Hi, @Haitch66 , unfortunately all rechargeable batteries deteriorate over time. As the Charge 4 is now an older device, it may be that the battery has deteriorated too much now to record your full walk.
I would say any of the newer devices should be able to do what you want. If you want a Fitbit with a built in GPS chip then I would recommend the Charge 5. If you are happy to use the GPS on your phone and would like a smaller device, the Inspire 3 or the Luxe would also work well.
Or you could try a Fitbit in the smart watch series. If you go to the online Fitbit store you can compare Fitbits and take a little quiz to see which one might suit you best.
Top tip to prolong the life of all lithium ion type batteries - charging little and often works best - ideally keep the battery as much as possible between 20-80% and avoid frequent deep discharges as these will accelerate battery deterioration.
Welcome to the forums!
