My Fitbit charge 4 worked perfectly when I last wore it in March. I put it in a drawer whilst I underwent cancer treatment. This week I decided to get it out again, charged it up, but it simply won’t work. I’ve tried all the obvious fixes - updated software,  forced it to restart multiple times,  changed the clock face. It vibrates when I press the reset button but the screen is always blank. No display at all. Phone is still paired and synced. What else  can I do…this is crazy??!

Thank you for sharing the details about this situation with Charge 4, and the attempts to fix it on your own. 

I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed. Please, keep in contact with them and check your inbox and spam folder out.

Still deeply unimpressed with Fitbit. The Charge 4 was a replacement for a cheaper Fitbit that stopped working (after a relatively short length of time). After less than two years wear this time  - long periods not in use due to COVID and chemotherapy- my Fitbit is out of warranty. Totally unfit for purpose and all Fitbit can offer me is a fairly small reduction on a replacement Fitbit. Needless to say, I shan’t be buying another one. Shocking value for money.

Hi my fitbit has done exactly the same. I was wearing it for a run, and it was working perfectly. I got home and the next minute the screen has gone blank! I know it's fully charged but just not registering any! 🙁

My Charge 4 battery is at 5%, screen is black, did trouble shooting. Logged off and back on app and now device won't pair to my phone so I can't sync. It vibrates and I get the smiley face upon

rebooting - but nothing else.
