I have had many fitbits mainly charge 3's but bought the charge 4. I am on my 3rd charge 4 and they keep breaking, its not the actual strap but the clip attached the fitbit screen, it breaks clean off rendering it useless. Anyone having this issue?

I had this happen to my 2 year old Charge 4 just today. After sending pictures of the problem via chat, I heard back that because it's out of warranty, they can't do anything.

Yes, it’s a product design defect. The product wasn’t designed or built properly. On the broken connector piece you can see the only connection points between the main watch and the flimsy plastic band connector are two tiny pieces of plastic that are glued. The glue comes lose or the tiny pieces of plastic sheer off. Had I know they designed it this way, I never would have purchased it knowing it has a 100% failure rate over time.
