Charge 4 broken band connector

The connector pieces between the hardware and the wrist band have broken. Looking at the watch, I'm not sure how you would be able to repair it. How do I go about exercising a warranty claim? This is my fifth fitbit watch, with only one claim for a wrist band. I hope this brand loyalty is acknowledged.

I ordered one of those “one piece bands “from Amazon . It arrived quickly, fits well, and It is an affordable solution to this epic flaw regarding the Fitbit Charge  4 .

its nice to be able  to use  my Fitbit again 👍

This was a great tip—unfortunately I had given up and moved on before I saw
the post about it. For people who really prefer the Fitbit data system
(that was me) it’s a workable solution. If Fitbit service could be more
honest about their flaw, they might have been able to point frustrated
customers like me in that direction.

I’m glad to hear that the band worked for you. I’m thinking that the person who came up with the idea was a Charge 4 owner and is sitting pretty right now…lol
I hope your Charge 4 keeps on going for a long time.

One piece band: how would that work with a broken connector on the watch itself? And can you post a link?

Search Smartwatch cases

We can't put in links...

Saufly is one that I found

I unscrewed the little plastic piece on both sides of my charge 4.  Then it pops into this watch band like a picture frame. It seems pretty sturdy I’ve had it for two days. It’s ugly….but I figure it’s better than just throwing the watch away. It will go into the fitbit charger without having to take it out of the watch band.

Some of the brands on Amazon are Supcase, Goseth, Kakurookie, Saufly and Nikki, they are all one piece where the pebble fits into the opec center piece.

My second FB broke in the exact same place. The connector snapped off the watch. I don't see how there is a solution to this break, besides replacing the watch?? The bands I had on it are fine, the watch is flawed at it's connection point. After going through two of them I am finished with Fitbit. The whole line of FB 4's  is flawed, and they are not replacing them, which is wrong. Thanks for the input though

Hi again! Will check those out. Might be a solution till I can find a different watch. THANK YOU!!

This was my situation exactly. The connection design is jus badly flawed
and ethically they should just replace this particular problem. Period. But
while there are trackers and watches with additional features, only Fitbit
tracks and displays activity in this particular way that I personally
prefer. So it’s infuriating!!!

I'm having the same broken connector problem at 15 months. My band broke at 11 months and Fitbit replaced it. So when the band kept falling off I thought it was a broken band again. I ordered a few bands this time but when they came in today they wouldn't stay on. Upon further inspection I saw the broken connector. I'm so disappointed. From reading this forum I can see contacting Fitbit is a waste of time. Has anyone gotten anywhere with their credit card extended warranty?

Got my money back from CC company as part of extended warranty

My connector has also broken, just outside the warranty window of course. This is the second Fitbit I have had break just outside the warranty window. It seems to be very common and given their response to their shoddy workmanship, a 35% discount, it’s a marketing strategy to sell more bands. I will not be giving FitBit another dime.

We all contacted your support team, your company refuses to stand by your product and a 35% discount is unacceptable given your clearly faulty product.
