I am one of a jillion people with a Charge 4 and a busted clasp spring that busted less than a year into ownership. My question is, why do I keep buying Fitbits? I've never had one that lasted two full years and with all the complaints online about the Charge 4 busted spring, it is now confirmed that I'm not the one at fault here. Next time I'll just set my money on fire.

Hey there! Me too.... I have had so many different Fitbits over the years, I take such great care of mine and as I walked into the gym it just fell off my wrist! I have been in contact with people from the chat and on the phone, they have done nothing! This is clearly a design flaw and it looks like so many of us have been ripped off! I was told my warranty is not valid anymore (just barely by a few months)! I will let you know if this gets resolved. I have read previous complaints about the same thing and Fitbit hasn't don't much. DESIGN FLAW!

Agree. I was just turned down by the warranty department for my broken band on my charge 4.  And then the price of a new one is 30 bucks. What a rip off.

If the part that attaches to the band has broken and you are past your warranty, Amazon has bands made especially for this. The band is made to encompass the pebble so it doesn’t need to attach.  Here are four of the  Brands that Amazon carries.
