Charge 4 counting steps while I sleep

My Charge 4 is counting ALOT of steps  and distance when I sleep. I usually wake up with 4000-7000 steps and 3-6km already logged for that day. I check the step counter and between midnight and 7am (when I wake up), my watch has tracked a consistent number of steps every hour. For example, I woke up with 6377 steps this morning, and my fitbit app specifies that I took 911 steps every hour between 12am and 7am. The number changes every morning but it's always a consistent number of steps per hour. Then, once I wake up, it stops doing this and starts logging my steps accurately for the day.

I have tried rebooting my fitbit numerous times, updating the app, and charging my fitbit. My watch is currently on my non-dominant hand but I listed it as dominant in the settings to reduce the sensitivity. None of these solutions have helped fix the problem. Can anyone help?

Wow that's a lot of steps! Mines been doing this for about a week now so hopefully yours doesn't log that many steps every night haha.
