Charge 4 not charging

started to charge Fitbit yesterday and screen just went black.  Have tried 3 charger, have cleaned the pins and tried different plug sockets.  Left it plugged in all night.  Last night got the smiley face briefly when I pressed the side button but that went off immediately and nothing else happened.  Only had this Fitbit since October

Thank you.  I looked at the tips.  I cleaned my Fitbit and charger.  Eventually after several hours charging  the screen came on and it was fully charged.  The battery ran down quickly and I needed to recharge it 3 times that day.  The battery ran out totally over night and I had the same problem in that it wouldn't recharge.  I've given up with it now and got the fitbit thatvI replaced when the fastenings for the strap broke off so I've glued the strap onto the Fitbit and am using it again.  

I am disappointed as I've only had it since October and the previous one had broken.  I am so keen on sustainability and recycling so having to replace so often upsets me.  I wish that fitbit would  make trackers with a bit of longevity
