Charge 4 won't sync

I purchased my charge 4 in April 2022. For the first few months it was great. Then it started to become flaky. Currently it won't sync in a timely way. It used to do this quickly but now always says sit tight. 10 minutes or more isn't acceptable, nor is suggesting turning phones and Bluetooth off and on. Why is this happening when it didn't when the device was new? Fitbit, 6 months of reliability isn't good enough.

Hi there, @DebbieEllen. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 4 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Charge 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Charge 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Charge 4.
  • Once your Charge 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

Hi, I am trying to connect my fitbit charge 4 to the app. I am also trying on Android and IOS. Everything is updated. The watch says app download and update when it tries to connect. Unable to connect, tried all the troubleshooting tips and nothing. Please help, otherwise charge 4 will have to go in the bin.
