My charge 3 stopped charging and wanted to move up to a charge 4 but all I see are issues with the charge 4. Should I forget that purchase?

Hi, First let me say that I love my Charge 4 when it works. I am on my second in less than 2 years. My first one started going dim around 9 months into use then at month 14 went totally blank and Fitbit Support said it was an unexpected defect with the device.

The only compensation that they offered was 35% off the full price of another device.  My second device is still working but every day I worry that one of the other defects with the device will pop up rendering it useless. If your 3 was still working I would say, stick with it( mine is still working after 4 years, I switch it out with my 4 when I’m charging), but since unfortunately that is not the case, before you buy another Fitbit, read through the help forum for that device so you know what problems are existing with it before you buy.  Look into other brands, read reviews from owners, there is no place for Fitbit owners to leave reviews for their devices. Good luck!
