The most important Fitbit feature to me is seeing my steps on the first screen. I’ve only found this on the Charge 2. Does anyone know if this Is available on any other model?

Hi, @NolaTim , you have posted in the Charge 4 forum, so I am guessing this is a Fitbit that you are considering.  There are a number of clock faces that will show you the time (sometimes date as well) and steps.  You can scroll through all available clock faces here .

The short answer to your question is that a clock face that will show you steps as well as time on the main screen is available on all currently available Fitbit devices so just choose the Fitbit that has the most important features for you.  If you go to the Fitbit store you can compare devices.

If you find one that you like and want to make sure that it has a clock face that does what you want, just let us know which device you are considering and post again here.

I hope this helps!

Thanks for the response. After my first Charge 2 died several years ago I bought a Charge 4, and the steps display was buried three deep, so I was constantly tapping to get to it (there were not alternative clock faces). I found it very annoying, especially when the time I most wanted to see my steps was walking the dog.
I found a Charge 2 on Amazon and bought it last December. It’s exactly what I need, but it seems to be failing (again), and I may need a replacement. I can’t find a click face in any other Fitbit model where Steps is on the first screen.
As I said, it’s the single most important feature for me, followed by sleep tracking (which just stopped working on my Charge 2).

There are several Charge 4 clock faces which show steps on the front of the screen with no tapping.  You can see the list from the link I posted above.

You might like the one called Step Date

There is also Stats Heavy which I like.

The clock face I use (which has steps on display) is the 'Retro Double Stat' one... This one shows 3 pairs of stats on the bottom half of the clock face (always leaving time and date in the top half). Just tap the screen to cycle through the pairs, if you're interested, or just leave it on the first/default one.

The pairs of stats are:

Steps & Heart Rate

Distance & Calories

Floors & Active Minutes
