Can anyone help? I can’t seem to understand why my heart rate is different on a bpm & a work out. Example,  did a walk today and said max heart rate 157 but then daily bpm shows highest rate of 134. Anyone got an explanation?

Your bpm during the walk is an average of your bpm during the period of the walk.

Your average days bpm is the average from midnight to midnight. Let's hope the days average is lower than when you work out. During the day the body at times is at Ernest or asleep.

Thanks for your reply but I am referring to the peak on the walk which differs to the peak reading on the daily bpm graph.

Yes I'm aware of what your referring to @Linkyh

Stirring a recorded walk the heart rate is averaged I've 1 minute increments. On your days report the heart rate is averaged over 5 minute periods.

Look a the HR data in the walk record. What are the heart rates for the minutes before and after your high?

Is the days high for the same minute as the high on the walk?

Let's say that we have five consecutive minutes dire in a walk with heart rates of looking at one of my walks. 117, 117, 121, 124, 124. I obviously have a high of 124 but the average over these 5 minutes are (117+127+221+124+124)/5 = 120 which will be what gets posted for the day.
