I bought a Charge HR and just over a year after having it, the back came off. It showed the wrong date and stopped counting steps. I had purchased a warranty on it and jumped through the hoops to have them look at it. I had to find my proof of purchase and send it to them as well as ship the product back. After they looked at it, they supposedly sent me a "new" Fitbit Charge HR. Well, here it is, not even 3 full months later and the band is pulling away from the face of it. I believe it happens because I have such scrawny wrists and have to pull it very tight to make it fit snug on my wrist and when I do that, its pulling it away from the face of the tracker. Has anyone else experienced this? This is the 3rd Fitbit I have purchased and am really getting tired of throwing away my money on something that should last more than a year as far as I'm concerned.

The third party warranty is not with Fitbit.
As for the band, it should be loose enough to at least easily slip a finger behind the band.

I bought my fitbit Charge 2 last year. I was very happy - and very careful -- with it, until a couple of days ago I removed it to go swimming. When I came back, it was cracked. I contacted the support center and as it is a month out of warranty, they said they could not do anything other than give me a discount on a new one. First they gave me a 25% discount and when I complained they gave me a 50% discount. Either way, I am SOL ... why would I buy a new one when I don't know if it will break without me doing anything again?
