Device not tracking sleep information

Each night there are omitted sleep data periods, even though I was certainly sleeping?

I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? You're not receiving Sleep Stages detailed graphs or sleep information at all? In the meantime I receive your answers, please check our help article: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?

Thanks for contacting me. I appreciate the effort.
Actually, I get the sleep data, but often, the data say from 12 to 2 or 3 to 6 might be missing. Even though I am sure that I was sleeping during those times. Thus, I may have data from 10 to 12 and 4 to 9 but nothing between 12 and 4. If I understand correctly, Fitbit uses the pulse to compute sleeping patterns. No pulse during the missing period??? - Sangoksa.

The details that were shared in your post are appreciated. So we can move forward with this, can you please go to your sleep records, tap on an actual sleep log in which you didn't receive Sleep Stages and check any error message at the bottom? If there's an error message, please send me a screenshot of such message. You can refer to this post to attach the image into your post. 

 

You can check our help article: How do I change my sleep history? to add sleep information for the days that sleep wasn't recorded at all.

Checked. No error code.

Often only 2-4 hours are recorded and the rest is blank. Of course if less than 3 hours total , no detailed sleep stages are given. sangoksa.

Seems odd that you didn't receive any message explaining the reason why you didn't receive Sleep Stages. Can you please let me know if the same occurred when you tap on other sleep logs? With an error message we will be able to determine in a detailed way the reason why you didn't receive detailed sleep graphs on certain days. In the meantime, please check in your account settings if the sleep sensitiveness is in normal and not sensitive.
