Display not working

At first it was just a little corner, but then the darkness spread to the whole display.  No my Fitbit is useless.  I expected more for the price.  I enjoy the features of the Fitbit, but if this is what happens after a couple years, it would be more economical to simply buy cheaper fitness trackers with fewer features.

Hello @jah238 and @klee1987, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for the feedback. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your Charge 2 devices following the next steps:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button to restart your tracker:
    • For Charge 2—press and hold the button on your tracker for 4 seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions for me to answer.

Thanks, Ricardo.  I have tried that, and I tried it again after reading your message.  Unfortunately, it does not make any difference.  The issue seems to be the display itself.

Hi, my wife has recently received a fitbit charge 2. It was second hand and working fine. She downloaded the app, connected the fitbit to it and syncd it. Then the fitbit stopped working. The screen is black, it don't vibrate when plugged into a charger or any of the 3 we have in our house. They all work as they charge my charge 2. We have tried the reset (holding butting down while on charge etc). Can you please help?

I’ve tried to reset following the above instructions but still nothing on the display.  Do you have any other advice?
