I started in 2018 with the Charge 2, upgraded in 2019 to Charge 3. My concerns over validity of data readings resulted I'm my purchasing a third party pedometer. I walk only, no running jogging skipping just walk. Today I walked my normal daily morning route of 10500 +/-steps in country lanes with some medium inclines and as usual both my readers calculated steps at Fitbit 10881 6.32 miles and Pedometer at10908 5.16 miles. Both are set at 30inch step so an acceptable percentage of error with regards the step count but totally unacceptable with regards the distance covered.
Fitbit yet again grossly over stated. I have spent too much time trying to sort this to no avail and have now lost total confidence in the Fitbit brand, my Charge 3 has been sent of to be recycled in the green bin, probably end up as part of a Tesla.
