My friend gave me her Fitbit Charge 2 that she was not using because she got a apple watch. I have a Samsung Galaxy A6 why won't it pair up with my phone. It will stay in pairing mode and then say couldn't try again. Check your settings

Was your friend nearby when you tried the setup? If so, ask her to check her phone's bluetooth settings and remove any link to the fitbit as this could be blocking connection to your phone.

She is not near by when I tried pairing the Fitbit charge 2 to my Samsung Galaxy a6 phone

I unpaired my Fitbit Charge 2 in Bluetooth settings as it didn't seem to be connected. Now i can't find out to pair it again. It's not showing as an available device . I have in installed and reinstalled app but still nothing.
