Hello everyone, my fitbit charge 3 has had a black screen for a while now but it still counts steps and everything and also vibrates at least but the fitbit shows nothing. I see this is a very common problem. Is there a solution to this problem?

same problem here. Appears to be a lot of people having the same issue. Must be a firmware update.

Same here, tried plugging in & holding down 15 seconds. Doesn’t work. Just out of warranty too

Yep mine too, opened a ticket. Fitbit's answer was to give me a 25% discount and buy another Fitbit.

Same occurred to my Charge 3 about 2 weeks ago. The usual connect to charger and hold the button in to restart didn't get the screen back this time (this has fixed the problem many times in the past but not this time!). Also tried running it flat and then charge/turn on but no screen. Still syncs, counts steps etc.
Last thing I did before the screen no longer worked was reading a text message.

@sdg8trgrl , Yeah that's what a lot of companies and sellers do to continue their business and to make more money. They create a problem in their product so that when the customers item breaks,they/people will continue to buy and try out their other products hoping that the next one they buy wont end up like their previous item. But unfortunately, most of the time thats not the case. But after a while, people will catch on.

I have got this same problem too..
Not for the first time either!
My first Charge 3 was only about 5 months old when it got the dreaded blank screen of doom..
The usual button pressy resets didn't fix it, so as it was still well within warranty, Fitbit sent me a new one.
Now that replacement device has gotten the blank screen of doom too
😞
This one has made it almost a year...
11 months in fact.... bugger!!

Wow! I literally had the same exact problem @Lu78. The first one I had for 2-3 months until it gave out and went dark. Then fitbit sent me a replacement thankfully, but then after 2-3 weeks the replacement charge 3 went dark mode as well!! And I tried all of those steps and still nothing. Really disappointing.
How long have you guys had your fitbit charge 3? And how long did it take for it to go black screen?
