I am on my second fitbit in 4 years. My first, the Charge HR, lasted just over a year before it would no longer charge, and I was told by support their was nothing they could do and it was no longer under warranty. Now, my fitbit Charge 3 wont work. The screen is just black, and support "tried" to reset it, but can't get the screen working. This time it was just over the 2 year mark, so of course, its not warranted or anything. I never get my fitbit wet and I keep it pretty well taken care of besides normal wear and tear. Does anyone have the same problems? Does anyone know why they would only last just over 1-2 years before they die? I'd hate to spend another $200 if the same thing is going to happen again....

Hello @JennBruing. Welcome to the community forums.
I'm very sorry for the experience and thank you very much for the detailed information and for taking the time to provide your feedback and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. At this time, I'd like to let you know that several factors can impact the performance of your Charge 3, nevertheless, I was able to see that you have reached out to our Support Team and they are currently working on your case. Please keep an eye on your inbox since they will get in touch with you via email.
Please note that replacement devices are provided for products that are within the warranty period. If your original Charge 3 is no longer under warranty a discount could be an available option but some conditions and requirements should be met. For more information about our warranty policy, I recommend visiting the following link: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/legal/returns-and-warranty.
On a side note, your post is open if someone else would like to provide additional information or any other suggestions.
See you around.
