Fitbit app not tracking walks accurately

Since I transferred my account to google my Fitbit app on my iPhone 11 no longer tracks my walking exercise route accurately. Nothing else has changed. I have locations on always and I start and stop the walk on app manually. The route will stop or start in different places excluding parts of the walk. It also has me cutting through peoples yards and houses making a triangle. In case it is relevant I have a charge 2.

Still won’t work. I just went for a walk that was over a mile and all I got was a small triangle that cut off over half the walk with .33 mile result.

 this is what I end up with. I’m ready to start looking for another app as I have received no help at all.
