I will never purchase another Fitbit product. I have a charge 3 for less than 18 months that I paid $169 for and it stopped charging and syncing...have tried all suggestions online...Fitbit can do nothing as it only has a 1 year warranty...the thing is in perfect condition and the only thing the “tech” person could say is try plugging it in to another outlet??? Poor customer service. I am off to buy an Apple Watch that I hope will last longer than 18 months.

My wife and I like our fitbit. As avid hikers we enjoy seeing our accomplishments. In fact, we had our son and my brother purchase Fitbits. That being said, my wife's Fit 3 went out after 1 year and 9 months and this seems to have occurred at the same time a Fitbit update was occurring. Not sure, but the update may have caused this problem. I worked with 2 Fitbit techs to fix and unfortunately nothing worked. They offered us a 35% discount on a Fitbit 4. Given how quickly the current Fitbit broke I asked if he would give us a 50% discount I would buy a new unit. He politely said he would talk to his supervisor who stood steadfast and said that 35% was the best they can do. I was deeply disappointed and said that based on the time factor I would not be purchasing another Fitbit. Sorry Fitbit, but you lost us in the future.
